Blue Point Brewery Celebrates 20th Anniversary

More than 3,500 people joined Blue Point Brewery to celebrate its 20th anniversary “Rewind to ’98” on October 13. The sold-out party took place at the brewery’s new location on 225 W Main St in Patchogue.

Attendees dressed in 90s attire and danced the night away drinking beers re-released by Blue Point from the last 20 years.

“A number of original beers were made available during the 20th Anniversary party including Oatmeal Stout, Rastafa Rye, Toasted Lager and Old Howling Bastard,” Jenna Lally, Blue Point President, said.  “These beers served as the basis of our expanding and innovative portfolio that feature close to 20 different beer styles and has spanned the past 20 years.”

No 90s party could be complete without music to take you back to that time. Dinosaur Jr., Reel Big Fish and Saved by the 90s were among the bands that played at this event.

“Each band was chosen with our theme in mind to really transport everyone back to the 90’s,” Lally said. “[These bands were] big in the 90s and we’re happy they could help us celebrate an important time in Blue Point history.”

Stay tuned for some upcoming events with Blue Point including their Halloween Party on Saturday, Oct 27, which will take place at the River Ave location, Blue Point’s official grand opening of the new location in early 2019, and their annual Cask Fest next April.
