CraftBeer.com recently announced the results of the 2016 “Great American Beer Bars.” A special congratulations to Tørst in Brooklyn to being listed as one of the 51 best beer bars in the country.
Tørst was founded in 2013 by Jeppe Jarnit-Bjergsø, Denmark’s Evil Twin brewer, and Daniel Burnswho of Noma and Momofuku Labs. The Brooklyn bar currently has over 200 bottles and cans, and 21 beers on tap (draft list). According to CraftBeer.com, Tørst recently opened Luksus, a 25-seat full-service restaurant in the back of the bar which features “Scandinavian-influenced American fare.”
In the 2016 Great American Beer Bar’s competition, CraftBeer.com expanded its search to name the best beer bar in every state and Washington, D.C. Here is the complete list of the 2016 winners.
