It’s easy to let time pass by when you’re schlepping to your job that you love too much, but then Friday comes and you grab that ice cold beer (or in my case, cider), and everything is forgotten. All of the times you got pinged at work, the nagging supervisors, and dumb coworkers who you don’t even know how they even got hired.

Maybe you’re heading home by train, bus, subway…or maybe you’re stuck in traffic (hopefully not texting and driving though) and realize that you didn’t catch up on your brew news for the week. Beer Of Champions: General Mills And Fulton Beer Create Wheaties Beer — Good Luck Getting Your Hands On It

General Mills and a Fulton Beer, a craft brewery, has partnered to create a Wheaties beer called HefeWheaties. It’s crafted after a Hefeweizer, which is a beer from south Germany that has a lot of malted wheat. HefeWheaties will only be released in Minnesota, however, since it will only be released in a limited batch

Blue Barn will debut a craft cider-beer that taste like apple pie

Blue Plate Restaurant Co. will roll out a brand-new, exclusive beverage at the Blue Barn, its location at the Minnesota State Fair. The drink, called Pi, is a cider-beer that uses caramel malts to mimic the taste of an apple pie, according to a news release sent out by the company.

Brand New Creates Craft Beer, Announces U.S. Tour Dates Including Ommegang Brewery Stop
Brand New will head to the stage at Cooperstown’s Ommegang Brewery for their first New York show of 2015 on Aug 16 and unveil their newly crafted beer produced in partnership with the Cooperstown brewery. Free tastings will be available at the show.
